Hello! I am San Lee (she/her), a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Connecticut. My research focuses on how international norms, particularly those related to feminist and queer ideas, are created through bottom-up processes like social movements, protests, and transnational advocacy networks. I am currently exploring how to define “queer internationalism” as an epistemological framework that challenges the tendency of queer movements towards homonationalism and sexual citizenship discourses.
